Introduction
The first Professional Experience (PE1) provides pre-service teachers the opportunity to become familiar with the school context. PE1 primarily involves active observation, discussions with the supervising teacher and initial school experiences.

All students must be aware of the scheduled Professional Experience dates and be prepared to undertake a placement during the scheduled time. The dates of Professional Experience may only be changed in exceptional, unplanned circumstances. Date variations are assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Coordinator, Professional Experience in accordance with the Professional Experience Guidelines.
