Student Access to MyLO

Reasons why a student may not be able to view content in a unit:

If a student gets a Not Authorised error in a unit for content that you can see, this may occur  for a few reasons:

• The content item may have restrictions on it  such as a start date or group restriction. To fix you can ensure the user is in that group or remove the restrictions.
• The file still in draft mode. Students cannot see items that are in draft. This is the case if the file is hidden elsewhere in your unit, such as another module. Ensure your file is not hidden in content elsewhere in the unit, or make the  item live.
• The item could be a quicklink in another unit that the student does not have access too. Ensure that the link to content is pointing to the current unit.
