Opening Hours

The IT Service Desk are trialling a small change to the hours we will be open to align our support with UConnect who are open 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

IT Services will open at 8:30am to resolve technical issues prior to a 9:00am start to ensure minimal disruption for staff and students.


Current Hours:

•Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (5:00 AM to 3:00 PM Beijing Time)


Phone and Online support

•Weekends and Public Holidays 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM (7am to 10am Beijing Time)


Walk in support at Morris Miller library

•9:00 AM to 5:00 PM - During Semester

•10:00 AM to 3:00 PM - Off semester


New Hours:

Phone, Online support and Live Chat

• Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (5:30 AM to 2:00 PM Beijing Time)

•Closed on Weekends and Public Holidays

•Closed Between Christmas and New Year

These changes will commence on the 2nd of January 2025.


We have completed in depth analysis to assess the impact of reducing the hours we are open and have improved our online resources to ensure information and guides are easily accessible to assist with common issues. Please share your feedback regarding these changes via our Feedback Form.


Face to face assistance is available 9am - 5pm at the Morris Miller Library during semester, and 10am - 1pm during semester breaks.

Face to face assistance is available 11am - 1pm at the Inveresk & newnham Libraries during semester and semester breaks.

During public holidays & Christmas Break there is no face to face assistance
